Longleaf Landowners

We are Biotic Environmental Solutions and Colored Pine Straw, one of the Southeast’s largest Longleaf pine straw harvesting companies farming in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. We are vertically integrated from the harvesting to the sales. We harvest, manufacture, and sell non-colored and colored pine straw mulch products throughout the entire United States. We sell to commercial businesses and distributors; on-line at www.ColoredPineStraw.com and Amazon.com; and locally from our warehouse located at 1827 Columbia Highway, Dothan, Alabama, 36303.

We are actively seeking to lease quality Longleaf Pine tree tracts planted into former crop fields that are currently in CRP or out of CRP. We are interested in 3-10 lease agreements and can bring you the highest land lease value possible. Furthermore, we take great pride and properly maintain the tracts we lease. This approach maximizes the investment for both of us and creates a win-win for all.  We have many tracts for you to visit and inspect.

Whether your land is ready to harvest or still has years in the CRP program, we would like to talk with you. We will work directly with you or your forester years in advance to provide the proper prescribed burning, herbicide applications, mechanical mulching, mowing, or hand cleaning needed for you to get the highest ROI for your property. Your Longleaf Pine Plantation is a long-term investment and we believe in building long-term relationships.

We Can Help Maintain Your Plantation Through Additional Services

  • Spraying herbicides
  • Prescribed burning and fire breaks
  • Mowing
  • Fertilizing
  • Removal of invasive hardwoods and vines
  • Mechanical mulching
  • Mechanical tree shearing
